Esto significa que\u00a0<strong><b>anualmente se detectan un promedio de 160 mil casos nuevos en el mundo,<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0seg\u00fan la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS).<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>El c\u00e1ncer infantil se considera un \u201cmilagro moderno\u201d debido al aumento significativo en las tasas de supervivencia<\/b><\/strong>, especialmente en los pa\u00edses desarrollados de altos ingresos, pues atender esta enfermedad representa un gasto millonario que es ahora la principal causa de muerte.<\/p>\n<p>Actualmente, a\u00fan no se han desarrollado medicamentos menos t\u00f3xicos para contrarrestar esta enfermedad y reducir los estragos de los tratamientos, lo que provoca que un gran porcentaje de los sobrevivientes de c\u00e1ncer infantil sufren condiciones y secuelas que limitan la vida.<strong><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><b>GANAC IAP.<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0(Grupo Amigos de Ni\u00f1os Afectados de C\u00e1ncer) es una instituci\u00f3n de asistencia privada sin fines de lucro ubicada en <strong><b>Culiac\u00e1n, Sinaloa<\/b><\/strong>, que desde 1995 brinda <strong><b>apoyo integral a ni\u00f1os y j\u00f3venes con c<\/b><\/strong><strong><b>\u00e1ncer<\/b><\/strong>. Su labor incluye el suministro de medicamentos, traslados, alimentaci\u00f3n, apoyo emocional y donaci\u00f3n de equipo m\u00e9dico al Hospital Pedi\u00e1trico de Sinaloa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bf<\/strong><strong>C<\/strong><strong>\u00f3mo puedes ayudar?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Puedes hacer donativos econ\u00f3micos o convertirte en un &#8220;\u00c1ngel de Esperanza&#8221; con aportaciones mensuales.
