En 2026, m\u00faltiples estrategias terap\u00e9uticas (incluidas la edici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica, los conjugados de anticuerpos y oligonucle\u00f3tidos, la omisi\u00f3n de exones, la regeneraci\u00f3n muscular, la terapia celular, la terapia con ARNm y las tecnolog\u00edas basadas en ARN) avanzan r\u00e1pidamente, ampliando las opciones de tratamiento para la DMD como nunca antes.<\/p>\n<p>Si bien la terapia g\u00e9nica ha acaparado los titulares en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, ya no es el \u00fanico enfoque que ofrece esperanza a las personas que viven con esta condici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En la actualidad, los programas de investigaci\u00f3n sobre la distrofia muscular de Duchenne abarcan una amplia gama de estrategias innovadoras, entre las que se incluyen la edici\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica, la omisi\u00f3n selectiva de exones, la regeneraci\u00f3n muscular, la terapia celular, la terapia con ARNm y las tecnolog\u00edas avanzadas de ARN, lo que ampl\u00eda significativamente las opciones de tratamiento para la DMD.<\/p>\n<p>Uno de los programas de investigaci\u00f3n sobre la distrofia muscular que m\u00e1s atenci\u00f3n recibir\u00e1 en 2026 es Del-zota (delpacibart zotadirsen), una terapia que presenta mutaciones susceptibles de ser modificadas mediante la omisi\u00f3n del ex\u00f3n 44.
