Michelle Alegre de Anda ten\u00eda apenas 10 a\u00f1os cuando fue diagnosticada con c\u00e1ncer. Durante los seis meses que dur\u00f3 su tratamiento, vivi\u00f3 en carne propia las dificultades f\u00edsicas, emocionales y econ\u00f3micas que conlleva esta enfermedad. Con una madurez y generosidad poco comunes para su edad, Michelle comparti\u00f3 con su mam\u00e1, Sandra de Anda, un deseo claro: <strong>ayudar a ni\u00f1os que no tuvieran los recursos para enfrentar el c\u00e1ncer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tras su partida, ese deseo se convirti\u00f3 en una misi\u00f3n. Sandra de Anda, junto con Ofelia y Elsa Nassar, fundaron AMANC Quer\u00e9taro el <strong>10 de octubre de 2003<\/strong>. Desde entonces, esta organizaci\u00f3n de la sociedad civil se ha dedicado a acompa\u00f1ar a ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os y adolescentes con c\u00e1ncer, as\u00ed como a sus familias, brindando apoyo integral durante cada etapa del proceso: desde la detecci\u00f3n oportuna hasta el tratamiento, recuperaci\u00f3n y seguimiento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un espacio que abraza, acompa\u00f1a y sostiene<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AMANC Quer\u00e9taro se distingue no solo por su trayectoria, sino por su enfoque humano y cercano. Es <strong>la \u00fanica organizaci\u00f3n en el estado que cuenta con un espacio f\u00edsico dentro del hospital<\/strong>\u00a0para acompa\u00f1ar a las familias que se encuentran en espera de consulta o tratamiento. Este acompa\u00f1amiento directo hace una gran diferencia, especialmente para quienes vienen de comunidades lejanas o atraviesan esta experiencia en soledad.<\/p>\n<p>La fundaci\u00f3n trabaja bajo el <strong>Modelo AMANC<\/strong>, que ofrece un abordaje integral enfocado en siete \u00e1reas clave: medicamentos, nutrici\u00f3n, hospedaje, apoyo emocional, transporte, acompa\u00f1amiento educativo y seguimiento cl\u00ednico. Gracias a este modelo, las familias no solo reciben recursos materiales, sino tambi\u00e9n contenci\u00f3n emocional y un entorno digno y humano que fortalece su resiliencia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reconocimientos que respaldan su compromiso<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La calidad del trabajo de AMANC Quer\u00e9taro ha sido reconocida a nivel nacional. Desde 2016, el <strong>Centro Mexicano para la Filantrop\u00eda (CEMEFI)<\/strong>\u00a0le ha otorgado el <strong>Distintivo de Institucionalidad y Transparencia<\/strong>, que la acredita como una organizaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida y confiable. Adem\u00e1s, ha sido analizada y validada por <strong>CONF\u00cdO A.C.<\/strong>, otra plataforma que eval\u00faa la transparencia y profesionalismo de las organizaciones civiles en M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>Estas certificaciones respaldan no solo la correcta administraci\u00f3n de recursos, sino tambi\u00e9n la efectividad y humanidad de sus programas, lo cual es clave para generar confianza en donantes, voluntarios y aliados.<\/p>\n<p><strong>En el contexto del D\u00eda Internacional contra el C\u00e1ncer Infantil<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cada <strong>15 de febrero<\/strong>\u00a0se conmemora el <strong>D\u00eda Internacional de la Lucha contra el C\u00e1ncer Infantil<\/strong>, una fecha promovida por organismos como la <strong>Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud (OPS)<\/strong>\u00a0y el <strong>Instituto de Salud para el Bienestar (INSABI)<\/strong>, que busca crear conciencia sobre esta enfermedad que afecta a m\u00e1s de <strong>5,000 ni\u00f1as y ni\u00f1os al a\u00f1o en M\u00e9xico<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con cifras oficiales, <strong>el c\u00e1ncer infantil es la principal causa de muerte por enfermedad en poblaci\u00f3n pedi\u00e1trica<\/strong>, pero tambi\u00e9n es altamente curable si se detecta y atiende a tiempo. Por eso, la labor de organizaciones como AMANC Quer\u00e9taro es crucial: <strong>conectan a las familias con los tratamientos, los recursos y el apoyo emocional necesario para aumentar las posibilidades de supervivencia y calidad de vida<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Testimonios que inspiran<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En la secci\u00f3n de<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amanc.org\/supervivientes\/\">\u00a0<\/a><strong>supervivientes de AMANC, <\/strong>pueden encontrarse historias reales de ni\u00f1os y adolescentes que han vencido al c\u00e1ncer gracias al acompa\u00f1amiento integral de la organizaci\u00f3n.
